The SAYLET ETI-OSA program was the first of the several other SAYLET PROJECTS that will be held in the future. It was organized in partnership with First City Monument Bank to train at least 350 youths and women around the ETI-OSA environs of Lagos state from 6th August, 2018 – 8th September, 2018.

The Screening exercise was held in July, 2018 and the program kicked off in August, 2018. There was a massive turn out for the screening exercise. We had over 850 individuals who registered for the training and over 700 who came out for the screening exercise, but we granted about 414 individuals access to attend the training and graduated 388 of them at the end of the training.

We had courses in Digital Literacy, Website Design, Catering, Music (Vocals/Instrumentation/Performance), Dance, Event Planning/Decoration, Make-Up, Fine Art, Fashion Creation & Design, and Wig Making. We had a fitness challenge on the first Saturday of the training program and several wellness seminars. We had several guests who came around to train the beneficiaries in business management and entrepreneurial skills. We also had several workshops and the Socasemp Inspire segments.

Though the training lasted for 4 weeks, it was indeed a time of transformation for these beneficiaries and they have moved on to a new level of their lives to impact and affect their world. Some of the beneficiaries were already getting orders during the training and were already making some good money for themselves.

The training program was accompanied with a grand exhibition program on the 8th of September, 2018 at the NAPHTALI EVENT CENTER. We had guests who graced the occasion and patronized the beneficiaries by paying for their products. Awards were given to outstanding beneficiaries and all the graduating beneficiaries went home with a certificate of attendance.
